IALCCE 2025 delegates will have the option to register for additional technical tours on Saturday 19th July. Information on the tour options are available below, all tours can be booked during the registration process at an additional cost.

NTRO has led Australia’s research and development in road pavements and innovation for within the transport industry for more than 60 years.
We have purpose-built, world-class transport research labs – one of seven such facilities in the world and the largest in the Southern Hemisphere – based in Australia. The labs at NTRO’s National Transport Research Centre in Port Melbourne, provide independent, fully accredited materials testing and performance for established materials, new materials, recycled and emerging materials.
NTRO offers a full suite of data collection and analysis services. We have the largest fleet of survey vehicles and expert staff in the Australia and New Zealand region. NTRO is well equipped to service everything from local road surveys to large-scale State and Federal network surveys. NTRO also specialises in ride quality testing, pavement strength testing, asset condition assessment and road construction quality testing. NTRO can perform the testing and has Australia’s foremost expertise to perform analysis and provide powerful insights and solutions for smart, informed spending decisions.
Melbourne Skydeck - Eureka Tower

The Eureka Tower is a notable skyscraper in Southbank, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. It is known for its distinctive architecture, including its gold-plated glass windows and blue glass cladding, as well as its iconic golden crown and red stripe, which pay homage to the area's history.
Key features and information:
Height: 297.3 meters (975 ft).
Floors: 91 floors.
Location: Southbank, Melbourne, Victoria.
Design: Modern architecture, designed by Fender Katsalidis Architects.
Construction: Began in August 2002, with the exterior completed in June 2006 and the building officially opened in October 2006.
Observation Deck: The Melbourne Skydeck is located on the 88th floor, offering panoramic views of Melbourne.
"The Edge" Experience: A glass cube extending out from the building, creating the illusion of being suspended in mid-air.
Historical Significance: The building's design elements, including the gold crown and red stripe, reflect the events of the Eureka Stockade, a significant event in Australian history.
Other features: The tower also has a hotel, boutique office space, apartments, car parking, and retail tenancies.
Public Art: The building incorporates public art, including a sculpture by Richard Stringer and place-making graphics.
Experiment: A research team placed Tillandsia air plants on various levels of the tower, demonstrating their ability to survive in high-rise environments.
